1. The 916 area code was created in 1947 as one of the original three area codes in California.
2. April 11, 2019, our first dance at Stoney's.
3. September 16, 2019, officially named our dance 916 Swing.
4. March 1, 2022, moved back to Tuesday nights, which was the original night of WCS at Stoney's for many years. We also started our
Spotlight Critiques and hiring Champions only for the Intermediate/Advanced classes.

6. July 26, 2022, 916 Swing hosts first Jack & Jill.
7. August 16, 2022, 916 Swing 3ft x10ft banner goes up.
8. September 6, 2022, Sacramento hit an all-time high Tuesday of
116 degrees (46.7 C), breaking a 97-year-old record.
9. September 16, 2022, 916 Swing hosts 3rd Year Anniversary Appreciation party at the Firehouse 5.
10. September 27, 2022, 916 Swing hosts second Jack & Jill.
11. October 1, 2022, 916 Swing adds 3 class levels.
12. October 18, 2022, Silent Disco West Coast Swing. First ever Silent Disco Spotlight dances.
13. November 29, 2022, 916 Swing host first Progressive Jack & Jill.
14. December 16, 2022, 916 Swing Team performs at Enchant.
15. December 31, 2022, 916 Swing hosts first New Year's Eve Party at the Firehouse 5.

22. September 6, 2023, 916 Swing goes to Maui, Hawaii. 916 Swing and
808 Swing hosts first annual week long swing retreat & workshop as a fundraiser for the victims of the Lahaina fires.
23. September 16, 2023, 916 Swing takes over the Waterfront in Old Town Sacramento and hosts a WCS dance from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.
24. December 18, 2023, 916 Swing and 808 Swing announces "The Aloha Open" 2024 to the world.
25. April 12, 2024, 916 Swing announces $1000 Jackpot Progressive Jack & Jill.
26. May 7, 2024, 916 Fusion is debuted at 916 Swing from 9:00pm - 11:00pm in the upstairs loft.
